LAB 2 is Weengushk Film Institute’s advanced television production program. Built for students who already have foundational film training, the program focuses on developing the skills needed to create a web series or television series while strengthening creative, technical, and professional capacity. Lab 1 or equivalent training is a prerequisite. Students deepen their practice in television scriptwriting, production planning, directing, editing, sound composition, and writing across different genres. The program also supports growth in communication, management, business, and pitching skills, preparing students to develop and present projects to television industry executives. LAB 2 builds on WFI’s hands-on, culturally grounded approach to learning. Students refine their voice through practical production experience, mentorship, and project development while preparing for the realities of professional media work. Their creations may be showcased through the Weengushk International Film Festival and other public opportunities as they arise.
