Flight Club - Drone Camp for Youth
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WEENGUSHK FILM INSTITUTE
Flight Club was founded in 2017 and is designed to inspire youth to utilize drone technology in a setting that promotes innovation, teamwork, creativity and imagination all in a positive educational environment. Drones are quickly becoming a key part of mainstream technology, so Flight Club has developed a unique curriculum for youth to discover the popular medium.
Flight Club is a three-day indoor and outdoor instructional camp for youth which incoporates the science and technology behind the mechanics of drones. Each camp will teach youth age-appropriate programming, which includes an introduction to drone photography, flight control and accuracy challenges, and drone racing and tournaments.
Flight Club delivers age appropriate programming, which includes indoor and outdoor instruction over three days, including:
Day 1: Instruction to Drone Photography;
Day 2: Age-appropriate programming: How to build to a drone and flight control instruction; and
Day 3: Drone racing, tournaments and accuracy challenges
Flight Club camps take place twice a month on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for 3 hours each day. The following dates are available for April and May:
