This 8-month introductory lab offers instruction and hands-on training in all aspects of filmmaking to youth with limited to no experience.The Lab will consist of: Screenwriting, Producing, Directing, Cinematography, Editing, Composing and Marketing.
This Lab is designed to take you through the filmmaking process, from Development to Pre-Production toProduction to Post Production and finally Sales and Distribution. The participant’s unique and creative vision will take shape under the guidance of experienced industry professionals who make up the Institute’s award-winning faculty and mentors. Participants will be able to write and direct their own short film. This short film will be your calling card, it will introduce you and your work to the film industry.
Admission Requirements:
Open to all youth between the ages of 16 to 29
