Shannon first fell in love with the film industry in 1999 when she made her first short film Mixed Reality. Since then, she has worked in Windsor and Toronto taking on the roles of writer, producer, cinematographer and editor making Short Films, Documentary’s, Educational Videos and PSA’s.
In 2005 Shannon graduated from the University of Windsor with a B.A. in Communications. While at Windsor, Shannon presented her PSA Cross Roads at the Anti-Static Film Festival in Detroit, MI. The PSA is now used as resource by the University of Windsor for their professors. As well, her short film It’s All Been Done won best special effects in the 2002 Short Film Contest held at the University.
Currently Shannon is pursuing her Project Management Certificate at Algonquin College while working at the Program Director at Weengushk Film Institute.
