RANDY REDROAD is a filmmaker with an eclectic resume as writer, director, producer and editor. Randy's feature film debut, THE DOE BOY, premiered at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Sundance/NHK International Filmmaker's Award.
THE DOE BOY collected fourteen other festival awards and a nomination for the IFP/Gotham Open Palm Award For Outstanding Directorial Debut. In 2003, Randy directed and edited MOCCASIN FLATS, a speculative pilot for Canadian Television, which premiered at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and became a long running, Juno nominated Canadian television series.

Randy has just finished producing and editing FIRST CIRCLE, a feature documentary about the personal and political sides of the foster care system for Oscar nominated producer Heather Rae. FIRST CIRCLE was recently acquired by Showtime.
Recent editorial work includes BEAUTIFUL WAVE, a coming of age feature starring Amy Teegarden, Sundance competition film THE DRY LAND, (as editorial consultant), OUT OF THE BLUE, an ESPN documentary directed by THE LAST STATION'S Michael Hoffman, which he also co-produced, and the wildly original IBID, which he co-produced and co-edited.
Randy’s upcoming projects include TEARJERKER, starring Chris Messina (JULIE AND JULIA, AWAY WE GO), THE LEGENDARY OWL JOHNSON, JACK’S CASKET, the gritty tv pilot DIRTY HOUSES and the comedy, POT LUCK, to be co-directed with collaborator Russell Friedenberg.
